Our Story

Founded in 1978 by Dorothy Peacock, Peacock Settlements has a history rich in professionalism and charisma. With a background of working at a law firm, she dedicated her life to the settlement industry and was one of the first five settlement agents in Perth with her office in set in Cremorne Arcade, with her Labrador as her trusted office assistant. An icon of the industry and strongly affiliated with other pioneers of the time, her work included assisting in the preparation of the Bill that went before parliament that is now recognised as the Settlement Agents Act.
